I downloaded it but haven't installed it yet.
Is it just AVI Converter v3.0? Or is the version number different?

There are two lines of AVIConverters for Rockchip-Players (especially of the RK260x-Generation):

1. The Original AVConverter and/or AVIConverter's
2. The AVIConverter Smart's

The Smart's are rotating and flipping the video and they need an option called "Motion Search precision"set to zero: "me_quality=0" (for most RK2606A-Players) or set to 4: "me_quality=4" (for most RK2608A-Players)
The AVConverter and all AVIConverters (without the additional SMART phrase), don't do this rotation and flipping.

Every RK260xA-Chip has its own and only ONE resolution ! Until now theire isn't any AVIConverter for all kind of Rockchip-Players, unfortunetaly...

Try some homepages of mp4-player-Manufacturers or Shops like:

Watch out for Downloads/Service/Support. The Filename's are mostly without "Smart" - you have to install and get running the AVIConverter to see the phrase in the Windowtitle. But some downloadable files are named with "176x220" or "240x320"- this is mostly a good hint of the AVIConverter Smart.
