convert .avi to smv

I bought an RCA opal and it takes .smv videos, (128x128 resolution) when i use the converter that came on the CD with the player, it wont convert avi files for some reason. And i do have all the codecs. When i use the converter on this site, it works but the video is horizontal instead of vertical, meaning i have to turn the player horizontal to watch it.

i'm not use to hving it like that everytime i watch a film.

is there a way to rotate it or something ?

Hi noobguy,

The SMV Converter is limited in it's options. I would recommend using VirtualDub to improve the quality of your original video firstly and resizing it to the correct size then flip it. Then use the SMV Converter to convert it to the .smv format.
