New MP4 Video Format Error

Checkout the picture on this MP4 Player on ebay, Item Number 110252817965. This is the MP4 Player i have.

The ones i bought says Video Format MPEG-4(AVI). I am assuming that i have to convert the MPEG format to AVI format, am i right?

Well the problem is the converting software they gave me was in all chinese and unable for me to read, ive tried just MPEG format and AVI format without conversions and both came up as Format Error on my player.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Most format errors for AVI format are the result of choosing the wrong screen size when converting. What type of converter are you using and what size option?

Re: New MP4 Video Format Error

I am not using any software, The software i got is in chinese so i cant read it. I tried using the MPEG and AVI formats directly without converting to anything and it didnt work.

So how do i go about doing this?

Re: New MP4 Video Format Error

You will need a convertor to convert the videos to the right specifications so your player plays them.

Try the free open source player viDrop created by a fellow member on this site here --> Free Open-Source converter for RockChip MPEG4 (XVID).

Or you can try the AVIConverter which can be downloaded here --> AVIConverter v4 English.

You can also read another post by a fellow member who has a similar problem as yours here --> http://www.mympxplayer.org/video-gt-...or-vt9967.html.

Hope that helps.

Hey thanks for this great info but when i go to download the AVIconverter 4.0 english the web page times out and i get this:

The server at taylorr.com is taking too long to respond.

What is going on with this?

Ok, try it now. It should be working now. I've changed it so we host it directly instead of taylorr.com.
