rockchip player cuts off end of avi
 

This site has been a great resource in getting me up and going on my player and mostly its worked except some of the vids have the END cut off - usually the funniest part or the punchline. Does anyone know why its doing this? Thankz heapz

P.S. Its a generic 4GB touchscreen player. I used vidrop to encode using parameters from this site. Some work well, but others just don't play to the end.

do they play to the end on the pc??

one would assume there is something wrong with the source files

hey makd511, they play fine on my desktop. I've used vidrop, avconverter, aviconverter, and many permutations of resolution, frame rate, etc etc. I've read scores of posts on this site, many with some very helpful tips which have gotten me this far, but there's this last little 'wrinkle' to sort out and I can't for the life of me, figure out how to fix it. All the videos I'm using have previously been converted (from the original) to amv for use on another player with absolutely no problems at all. I only struck these problems when trying to get them to work on this Rockchip beast. Cheers
