Could be eating my words on ths one, the player is good, but after some dubious behaviour tonight I suspect they could have hacked memory.
The video playback performs very well with a good conversion, Ive no doubt about that. After performing another conversion tonight and running it through Gspot to check all its parameters (which are the same as previous, loaded conversions), I transfered to the player, only to get the "file format" error ???
So, having read posts on hacked memory, I decided to delete an old conversion from the player and tried re-loading the new video. Low and behold, the new video now loaded. (did it now have space?)
Ok, so now I decide to try and load a new video again, only this time I delete the preciously loaded video to ensure I have room. So I load the new video only to get file format error, whats going on?
So I go to the "Explorer" menu and find the deleted video is still there ( is this why Im getting file format error, there isnt enough room).
Anyway, I click the delete file in Explorer and the player freezes up, wont do anything, turn off, play anything, be recognized by the pc via USB cable, nothing.
So now Im waiting for the battery to die so I can at least see if I can get some kind of indication out of it when I re-connect the charger.
I,ll let you know later how it pans out.
