Whole DVD to avi convertor for my player

Hi, newbie here with a video conversion problem.

Heres my player







The problem im having is that i cant convert dvd's how i want to. It came with AVIconvertor not sure what number version but ive tried version 4 on here and its basically exactly the same. The problem i have is how do i rip a whole dvd movie to avi using this or another program (ive tried many) so it works on my player. The program works and can convert to avi and works on my player but the problem im having and what i want to do is get the whole dvd movie to avi. At the moment i can only do a .vob file at a time and end up with several avi's and the movie broken up in those avi's, i want it to be one avi with the whole movie on it, is this possible with this software? or is there an alternative that will work?

Ive tried clonedvd mobile which is sorta what i wanna do, select the whole dvd movie and make it one avi file but the file clonedvd makes doesnt play on my player? i also have tried DVDFab 5 mobile, same results as clonedvd mobile.

Also how is it possible to find out what firmware and if theres new firmware?

Nevermind i think ive figured it out. Using viDrop works and ive also made a change to clonedvdmobile that now also works with this player.

If anyone is interested in using clonedvdmobile with one of these players you have to save this to the devices.ini where you saved clonedvdmobile, it will add a new device to the list which will be called chinese mp4 player.

if ive gone against any rules of the board sorry, just trying to help those who have a chinese mp4 player and wanting to use an easy and nice looking program like clonedvd mobile to convert there vids.

note: you will also need anydvd to use with clonedvd mobile if you want to copy a dvd with protection.

So viDrop works ok on your player as well as clonedvdmobile? The only down side I can see with clonedvdmobile is that it seems to be a commerical product you can purchase whereas viDrop is freeware.

Yep viDrop 5.5 did also work, and yeah the only downside to clonedvd mobile is that its not freeware. I just like how clonedvd mobile has easy to use options like removing subtitles, menus, directors comments etc and just copy the movie alone, viDrop probably can also do this but its just so easy with clonedvd mobile. Just remember that you will also need anydvd to copy protected dvd's(copyright prtection) when using clonedvd mobile.
