Default cannot convert a rm file to amv


hi,

when i tried to convert a movie into amv format to mine m4 player, it showed this error mesage

" no codec found, cannot build graph filter"

what can i do now?

i have installed the microsoft direct x 9, full k-lite codec pack too. i also have window media player version 10.

Hi chong,

You're not the only member who has had problems converting a rm file to .AMV. It seems the software has problems converting them properly.

The two recommendations I can make are:

1. Try installing the Bytessence MPxConverter 1.1 (Windows) from our website and use that to convert your rm file to see if that works.

2. If Option #1 doesn't work above, then try converting your .RM file to a .AVI file instead and then convert it to .amv. This method should work fine but may produce a lost of quality as it's a two way conversion.
