I bought an LG FM37 yesterday as an upgrade from my excellent Philips "Go Gear" 2 MB player.
Big mistake, I think so far. I should have gone for the Philips 8GB model.
The FM37 for some reason isn't synching video to the audio. In fact the video finishes with the audio trailing along after the video has finished.
I converted Youtube FLV to AVI, which is what the LG video converter uses, then ran it through the LG converter to size it to the screen, etc.
The device isn't readily accepting the firmware version 2.20EN either. But perhaps just as well, as there seems to be a lot of people who ran into endless error messages when they did.
I do get an message, it asks if I want to upgrade, press "record". When I do, nothing happens.
Another message "Not match to VIS file size.
As these are only message when disconnecting the USB, I can live with them, but would like to solve the synchronising problem.
