RK2706 Video Playback?
 

Ok so the RK2706 says it can play RM\RMVB\AVI format directly. I can get an Divx and XVID video to play but i have not been able to get a RM or RMVB video to play. All i get is a "file format error". What am i doing wrong? What size, bitrate and framerate should it be?

Also does this player support .mp4 files? Its advertised as MP4\MP5 player so should it play .mp4 files? I've tried but i've not been able to get it to play them.

i have exact player and it randomly loses the firmware for no reason and does not turn on, so back it up asap

mp4 files .. no .. mp4 in this context relates to the fact it plays video, does not player mp4

as for why not playing RMVB, not sure, maybe its encoded wrong, rmvb is complicated and as ever there are too many different ways to make them, i dont use rmvb i convert only to avi
