SRT = no, these player do not supprt SRT files

what you saw was a movie with subtitles embeded in during the conversion

vidrop on this site can embed subtitles during conversion

as for tv out, this may be due to your tv being NTSC and your player only outputting to PAL, there will be no update for this

if you have a tv with PAL you can test, try that, but NTSC support is not in alot of firmwares as yet

Hi Makd511,

Oh, no wonder. Yes, I find vidrop program and it works great! Thanks.
Well, My all Tvs are NTSC ( no PAL ) :-( I tried to tvout on all tvs, NO LUCK!

Do my mp5 needs upgrade firmware?
I go to setting > select " System Information " and
it says

Chip ID: RK2706
Soft Version ID: 2.19

In case: In future if i want to upgrade.
-How can i backup firmware?
-How can i upgrade firmware into my mp5?

one Question is...
How can i delete "games" and "calendar " icons?

Thank once again.

can not delete icons, they are built into firmware

you can not update the firmware o these no brand generic player, only branded players from china have that luxury, sorry, but you are stuck with the firmware that the player comes with

as for backing up the firmware, yes you can as this is a newer rockchip player (rx2706)

please se this guide on how to access the firmware and back it up

http://www.mympxplayer.org/firmware-...s-vp53329.html

but again, no updates

Oh...okay. Damn.. its no way to delete icons.
I brought this mp5 from China.
Oh, but i go to setting > select "system setting" and
it says, "Upgrade " > select > small sign says " No firmware "
What does that suppose to?

Thanks for the link, but it seem soo competed there.
Mp5 devices are same look like as mine, but these themes are different. how come?

these player are mass produced by many different factories#

they get a design that is popular and then many factories make it and sell it cheap

firmware updates are possible on players that arev made by reputable factories and provide updates, unbranded players like your are made for quick sale and not supported as the factory and the resellers are not bothered

it is the way china works im afraid,

and even if your player looks the same it is not as each factory wiill use different parts inside and firmware is specific to the player and the parts used

sorry, but when you buy players un branded and cheap like this the the penalty you pay is no support, no bug fixes, no updates etc etc

so if your player has problems or bugs then there is no way to fix it - sorry

the setting "upgrade firmware" is standard on the players but you CAN NOT just put any firmware there

goo that you have made backup so if anything goes wrong we can recover the player

Oh I got it now. I didn't know about that. it is interesting.
Can you give an example one of real brand look like mine?
Actually, I ordered it from site, but my friend ordered the mp5 like mine she get it from Tinydeal.com? so, The both are same or different in same degsin? uh huh?

my mp5 seems no problem at all - no bugs. I've used it for 1 week now.

odds are that your friends and yours will be different in some way, either the screen will be different type, or the radio chip different etc etc

basically even if you bought both from tinydeal they could still use different parts as tinydeal buy from many different factories the same looking player and one will be different from another

if you like to experiment then you can try and swap firmwares or try others but chances are it will not work and you will need to recover the player which can be done but is a pain
