Can't convert video for Chinese IPod touch

I recently purchased a Chinese version of the IPod Touch. Same as this player from Amazon: Touch Screen 4GB 2.8-Inch TFT MP4/MP3 Movie Music Personal Media Player.

I received the player fine but the CD had a large ink blob on the underside making it unreadable. My daughter's birthday has passed and I can't give it to her until I upload some movies to it. I have tried some converters with various file types with no luck and the seller wants me to send the whole thing back for an exchange but I am late as it is without waiting for two months for it to go to China and back. C

an someone please tell me how to convert videos for this thing??????

Download viDrop and use it to convert your videos, it's better than than what's on the cd anyhow, use the preset setting "Generic Rockchip 320x240 high.ini" in viDrop for the conversion

I downloaded the converter but I don't see anything about the Generic Rockchip 320x240 high.ini default. I tried all the 320x240 defaults but when I go to transfer the files to the unit it tells me "The parameter is incorrect" and usually disconnects the player. It has all the options for bitrate, framerate, aspect, etc. Any ideas?

I found the download for the ini and tried to convert a file. Worked great but when I tried to move the file to the player it still says the parameter is incorrect and shuts off the the player.

Hi cheesycook,

That sounds good.
Try to FORMAT your player if you are having trouble transferring it across. It seems to be an error with the memory on your player.

Let us know how you get on with that. Make sure you back up what you need before the backup though.
