Default sound off using vidrop v.055


i just got my video's converted using mp2 and i can't even hear a sound if i use avi media player to play it. now i change it to mp3 and i can hear sounds but it's off by at least 2 seconds. what could be wrong. please help.

This is a known problem of viDrop 0.55 - some Media Players won't play the sound on PC - but the files are mostly okay: you should hear the sound on your mp4-player.

Getting picture and sound staying in Sync is another problem: you could use the MEncoder Extra Parameters -Speed or -Delay - please do a little search about them here in the forum or go to www.mplayerhq.hu to reads the MAN-Pages of MPlayer and MEncoder.

i seach and couldn't find any. do i just put in -speed in the mencoer extra or do i have to put a number afterwards.

Yes you're right. You have to put a number from the range 0 to 999 afterwards of the delay-option, like this example:

-delay=123

I'll think it will be a hard way to find out the right value of delay, because you have to check the new converted video again and again in your mp4 ...

-speed=0.96

... could be entered from 1 to Zero in Steps of 0.04 - but the result may sound horrible.
