[solved] How do I convert avi to MTV please?

Hey everyone,

I got this an MP4 watch. I thought it'd be straight forward to convert videos for the watch but I've tried various ways now but can't get videos working yet.

I have tried the mtv conversion software which sometimes works converting but sometimes it says load file error - I just try and load an avi into it? I've tried the software that comes with the watch and I downloaded which is called MTV Video Converter but doesnt work and I tried MTV Converter - MP3 Player Utilities but it didnt work either.

I have so far not got any video file to work on it. It comes with sample MTV's but I have no software to test them to see what their specifics are. I have read on the internet that its something to do with codecs but I have no understanding or idea of codecs.

I just want avi's converted to MTV's so that they work on it. Any help?
Thank you v much,
James

Does anyone have any suggestions please?
