How can I determine the make/model of my MP3/MP4 player?
I have this MP3/MP4 player
Do not have a clue on who the actual make/manufacturer is for it The box it came in has even less information and the manual that was inside is barely readable (fine print and smudged) the player I have is like the one pictured here 8GB 2.8" TFT Touch Screen MP3/MP4/MP5 Personal Multimedia Player From the website I got it from, the model # indicates it is an A510 Where would I find newest firmware for it ? How can I get it to play MP4 video files ( I've tried converting a movie like 15 times to no avail, keeps giving me a file format error ) tried wmv / mp 4 and avi (manual says avi should work) The AVI converter 3.0 software that came with it does nothing tried to covert a 30 mins movie and it was stuck at 1% for 12 hours so, gave up on it. I have tried looking on google / on this site, but can not find anything that will help me describe exactly what I have / where to get flashing software (which one to get ) and where to download newest firmware ( or which one to use if it happens to be here ) Thanks alot for any help you can provide |

Your player is a Rockchip RK2608.
Use viDrop to convert your videos, ONLY .avi will play at 320x240. http://www.mympxplayer.org/tool-vidr...ter-df785.html use preset Generic Rockchip 320x240 high.ini in vidrop you need to click on button that look like THIS:- http://www.mympxplayer.org/templates...a_download.gif to download viDrop  |
