lines while playing video

my player is xcess avi/mp3 player 4gb (4cm * 3.4 cm screen)..firmware version =01.01.0415 date = 2007-04-10..

Im not able to view videos in my player..dark slanting lines on the screen cover the video while sound of the video is perfect..This problem started since a week..Is it the problem with firmware?..If so pls send me the link for upgraded firmware..help me pls..

Hi and welcome to the board.

I noticed you said "problem started since a week", so before that, you've been able to play videos fine on your player? So this problem is NEW or has it happened since you got your player?

What does the screen look like when you play music on it? Doe sit also ahve the dark slanting lines on the screen as well?
