What is the best AMV Converter you used?

I just want to know which AMV converter is the best..

so far i've only tried three of the converters found on this site..

bytessence, AMV converter 5.0 and AMV Converter Studio (i think i had the latest version)

seems like a waste of time to try them all don't you think?

anyway.. the best i've tried so far is the AMV Converter Studio 5.0 it converts almost all video formats there is and with great quality too.. the only problem is of course the software isn't free and the trial version converts only 10% of each video..

Bytessence is also good.. it is capable of converting most video formats like the AMV Converter Studio but with a super low quality video output..

anybody knows how to improve its quality?

and of course the all famous AMV Converter.. which converts only mpg files to amv.. i like the quality of the video it converts though..

Hi theillusionist,

As far as I know, there are THREE AMV Converters out there. All are pretty much loosely based on the same engine to convert AMV Videos.

AMV Converter should convert other formats apart from MPG as I have been able to convert from AVI videos in the past. Check to make sure you've installed all the codecs necessary as it should convert other video formats.

I've also had to edit your comment about getting a registered version of the AMV Converter Studio as we don't promote this on this website.

I haven't used the Bytessence Converter yet unfortunately so can't comment on here. However, it was created by a member on this forum as well so you can ask the question about quality in this post here: A new AMV Converter program MPxConverter by bytessence.

Yes, it's called "MPX Converter".

Try that and let us know how you get on.
