Unfortunately there's not many members who have SMV (sigmatel) players on this forum as it's not as popular as the Actions or Rockchip players.

cool, that one works. thanks.

It takes so long to convert vids to smv and if i use software other than what came with the player all i get is the word Stop on the screen when i try to play vids i convert.

Yeh, the SMV format is old and I think eventually it's going to 'die' given the rise of Actions and Rockchip based players which can now play AVI and have touch screen players as well.
