video sync problems and choppyness with RMVB files
 

Hi guys,

Recently I puchased this Mp5 player that could play rmvb files. My question is why the video doesn't play as smoothly and insync as it would on my pc? i have video sync problems and video choppyness when playing rmvb files. Hope to hears from you guys soon.

I don't have a player that can play RMVB files so can't speak from experience.

Can I ask though, what software are you using to convert your RMVB files? Or are you just playing them straight out unconverted? I'm thinking perhaps your player doesn't have enough power to play the video (compared to the computer) so perhaps you can try converting it to a smaller height by width resolution instead? You'll loose the quality but the file size should be smaller and might player better on your player.
