Default Itchee/Rizone 32gb video problems

ive been asked to post this here instead of a different thread

i reccently purchased a 32Gb rizone Mp3 player on ebay for £30. i thought this was a great deal obviously. since recieving it ive had no problems putting music on however i seem to be having problems with videos.

ive also read that many people have had similar problems.

when i emailed the seller about thi problem he replied with this:
Make sure there not HD avi as the player has playback issues with them.(also make sure the video has the right extension(it could be mpeg but labeled avi). I used xilisoft converter to check it with xvid, avi played them no problem, but according to manufacturer it plays wmv, divx, flv but I couldn,t get it to play those file types.

i can get the videos on the player but they just say invalid file format when i try to play them

(to see more info on this player and problems visit this thread

Itchee/rizone 32gb 2.6 mp4

thanx

The player is only 4gb and if you've put music on, the videos can become corrupted due to the device being full. Sadly, I am deciding how to sort my problem out. I will definitely be contacting PayPal i think. I've not had one video play, as of yet!

the device is deffo 4gb and that is why it is not working. by putting 10gb of music on, you've filled it and therefore anything getting uploaded now, is simply getting corrupted straight away.

I got one of these today and after the movie files I dropped in didn't work I checked the forum and downloaded Download (randomly picked it even though there were other versions). It converted the files and the two movies I did so far work fine. That programs player upgrade tool didn't work for me though. Tomorrow I guess I'll have to look into all this firmware and hacked memory stuff. Booo!

I am also thinking about getting one.
All my movies are XVID, mp3, 320x180

What's the playback like (Smooth? Good resolution?) and does it really have 32GB onboard?

Thanks

I bought one from Ebay seller kinhome88.

I can't get it to play any videos whatsoever, and NO, it is NOT 32Gb - it is only 4Gb of FrankenFlash memory as tested by H2testw v1.4.

I filed a Paypal dispute to get my money back.

Hi Mad Dad,

Can you post the eBay seller in the "Bad Sellers/Balcklist" section of this forum please?

Re: the videos not playing
Do you have a sample video that came with your player? If so, upload it to this site and we can check the settings. Some players require the video to be in a specific resolution as well but it really depends what type of video your player plays. Does it play .AVI videos?

Re: PayPal dispute
I would highly recommend it and if worst case, ask for a partial refund but I would try to go with a FULL REFUND if you can and wouldn't bother sending the player back as it would be too expensive. Plus, these crooks should get hit back for ripping people off by selling hacked players. You can send them to this site if it helps for your case.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.
