You have a Rockchip player.
Try these video samples:-
Download
the one that works will tell you the correct setting to use in viDrop to convert your videos to play on YOUR player:-

:(

the one with the size 128x128 (18fps) works, i tried to covert it that way on viDrop but it won't work
i mean it apears a picture i press pauuse and if i don't it goes back to browsing folders.
and i tried another one and if i press play it goes back again but if it's in the pause and i rewind iti see pictures but no sound.
the if i press play it goes back again
i don't know what do anymore
please help me!
thank you

Just had a look at a photo from a website in Romania.
It's not a Rockchip player after all, I think it should play .mtv files not .avi.

There should be a .mtv converter in download tools section.

still nothing

i tried, but it won;t appear
the mp4 didn't had a sample file
but one of those sample files that i downloaded form this site worked (the one with 128x128 18 fps)
in the manual says that the video format is AVI(XviD)
i tried in viDrop to make it XviD codec, but still nothing
i keep thinking that it needs some complicated setup and i can't figure out why
maybe you can help me :(

Binh@MyMPx 15th Aug 2009 2:29 am

Maybe you are missing some codecs on your computer? Try a few different video files types to convert from and see if that works or not.

unicum95 15th Aug 2009 2:33 am

i tried to put .wmv, .amv and mpg files but only .avi appears
and yes i have all the codecs on the computer but it's not the computer
the mp4 needs sofisticated settings to play .avi with xviD codec
i can't figure it out

waldopulanco 15th Aug 2009 4:36 pm

Sir what kind of mp4 y0u are using? What it chipset? If ATJ, it will play avi, if Sunplus it will play mp4 and 3gp.

Sorry about the confusion. Yes, it seems your player can only play .AVI as you mentioned in an earlier post. What I wanted to ask was, have you tried converting FROM different video formats into AVI? What I'll try to do is convert some test avi files for you and get you to download them to see if it plays on your player. I just want to rule out the possiblity that it's the original video file you want to convert from or your computer that is the problem.

okay but please send me then a download link
thanks for helping me:D

Problem solved!

I used the file conversion tool from the cd and now the videos work perfectly
thanks anyway for everyone for helping me!!!!:p:p:p

The tool can be downloaded from here: AVIConverter 5.1.6 - For players that play xviD encoded videos

Or from MyMPxDownloads.com here: Rockchip Tool: AVIConverter 5.1.6.

hi, i've read this conversation between unicum95 and the others and i was hoping if you guys can help me.
i have a ipod like mp4 player but its not an ipod. it can out from china and i really want to put videos on the mp4 player.
i've tried everything but nothing worked. the mp4 player says it only plays amv. files but nothing shows up in the mp4 player when i play it. they have a sample video that is under avi, format but when i put in a avi. format video a screen popped up and say 'error'. can someone help me. i am all out of ideas and i really want to watch videos on my mp4 player. thank you!!!

unicum95 24th Aug 2009 11:56 pm

if the mp4 came with a little cd, then the file conversion tool is in that one.
good luck

jj442 26th Aug 2009 8:56 pm

nope. it did not came with a cd. when i download the amv converter, it converted my video but not under the amv player and the only way to play it in my mp4 is to have the video in the amv player. im so lost. i dont know what to do.

unicum95 27th Aug 2009 12:06 am

I think maybe the best thing to do is go here and download some sample videos: Download Sample Videos from MyMPxPlayer.org

Download the sample videos, put them onto your player and see which ones play on your player. Hopefully one of the sample videos there will play on your player. Then we can work back from there...........

Actually fact, it would be better if you create a NEW POST for your problem as it seems your player is different from the one mentioned in this post and I don't want people getting confused as this has been [resolved].
