Itchee/rizone 32gb shuffle feature?

I bought this off ebay and I have the player. I put music and videos on it and it works but I'm just curious how to do one thing:

When I play videos, there is an option to "shuffle" and play the videos in random order.

How do I select "shuffle" for the music?

Thanks a lot!

Random play

If yours is the same model as mine, when in the now playing screen, press the far right button it looks like a play/pause button but it really brings up a menu, scroll down to repeat using the second and third buttons from the left, they look like the fast forward and rewind buttons, rewind makes it scroll up, fast forward makes it scroll down. Press the M button while repeat, it should give you a menu that has
Sequence
Repeat once
Repeat all
Shuffle
Shuffle + Repeat

if you scroll down to Shuffle or Shuffle + Repeat, it will play random. This model actually has a very good random play. On my last Mp3 player, it would only play randomly through a range of 300 songs. This can select at random from ALL of your music files (well except it won't switch back and forth between your card and internal memory during random play, I use this to my advantage by putting audio books on the card and music on the internal memory...)

I am still planning on testing if this model can really support OGG files, If it can, I might convert all my Mp3 files to OGG as they take up less space.

I hoped that helped.

P.S. Just making sure you are aware that it is only 4gb, it has been hacked.

Yea, I know it's hacked. The seller is sending me a new one which supposedly isn't hacked and if the new one is hacked also, then I'll get my refund for it.

It's 4GB. I pasted 6Gb worth of information onto it and the first 4GB of info pasted and works fine but the rest of it is corrupted.

I got this player because I didn't want to use a memory card. I put in an 8gb memory card just temporarily and it works perfectly fine.

As far as the options, the buttons you told me to press is exactly what I'm doing.

When I play music, I follow your steps, and these are the options I see....

AB repeat
repeat
select eq
set sound
replay times
repeat intervals
variable speed
lyric display
set star level
add bookmark
add to mylist
delete the file
information

When playing the videos, the menu says:

playback mode
add bookmark
delete
information

playback mode is where I can select the shuffle option.

does this mean there is no shuffle for the music?

Never mind, I just realized I forgot to check what it says when I click repeat. I clicked repeat and I found the shuffle. Thanks so much!

One last question. Is there a way to get the player to remember my settings? Every time I turn it off and then back on, I have to reset the volume and put it back onto shuffle mode.

That is odd. when I load mine, in the music menu, I select "Now playing" and it brings me back to the same place in the same song that I was playing when I shut it off.

Question, are you using the switch to turn off the player? Or, are you holding down the M button?

I hold down the M button for about 5 or 6 seconds and then it will stop the music and preform a shutdown, it looks like a fading green line across the screen. If you use the switch to hard shut it off, I am not sure it will save your settings.
