When I put videos on my mp4 player it says disk empty

Ok so Whenever I put videos on my mp3/mp4 player it says disk empty.

The only details I can get is its firmware which is.

is it a nano clone type player, if so it requires a special video format called AMV, you cant just load any video files onto it
