MP4 player no audio problem
We have been sourcing some mp4 players, and have had problems with them regarding no audio on video files.
These are 4gb ipod clones with a 30 pin dock, and they use sigma_en.exe conversion software which is loaded on the player. The sample size was 160x120 and we succesfully converted 1 file of cow and chicken as a test, which worked. But 2 more different files have ended up converted with no audio attached, no audio will even play in mpc on windows. One of these files started as an .flv was then converted to avi, then converted again using the sigma_en.exe software to be playable on the player. The other file started as an .avi file then converted through the sigma_en.exe software but yet again no audio, even in mpc on windows. Checking the properites on the files while they are loaded on media player classic shows the following: Cow and Chicken (Video and Audio fine) Video: MJPG 128x160 25.00fps [Stream 00] Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 44100Hz mono 128Kbps [Stream 01] Oasis test file the .flv one (Video ok / No Audio) Video: MJPG 128x160 16.00fps [Video 0] Black eyed peas test originally a .avi (Video ok / No Audio) Video: MJPG 128x160 16.00fps [Video 0] Any help as to what is going wrong, would be much appreciated, as I have just got to the point of head scratching. |
Try using this tool here: http://mympx.org/forum/video-related...p-players.html
See if that works better for you as a lot of members have had success with viDrop in converting their videos to .AVI format which can be played on their player. |
