.mtv file rejected on my player - "file version 255 is not supported"

Just tried your MTV Tool Converter, sorry to say: failed to play its .mtv file: "unknown format", my DX version is 9.About that tool: it plays many video files without problem (not old ALIAVI .mtv), but complains about CODEC and a splitter while converting any video file, even has a crash. While playing video, no interface, you have to wait the end of play.There is "mp3 player update tool", it shows only an error message "device not detected", even if the player is USB connected.
