Default [solved] Cant play video files

I got MS Industrial MP406 Glamour mp4 player. I've tryed to play video files, converting them to .mpeg4 and .avi, but still i got the "File format error".
Unfortunetly i dont keep the video that was comming together with the player.

Thx.

Can you tell us more about your player? Where did you get it from, URL?
Also, in your player's [Setup] menu, there should be a "Firmware Info" option. If you can post the details, that will help us determine what chipset your player has and then that will give us a clue what type of video format your player will play.

Interesting because I haven't seen a player that plays both .MTV and .AMV, it's either one or the other because .MTV is the older video format for the Action chipset players and was later replaced by .AMV instead.

That's a Rockchip rk26xx series firmware number. video needs to be .avi
try converting videos with viDrop, use the rockchip sample videos to find the right setting for viDrop.

Thx knob. I tryed all the videos. It was playing only 2.
TV_224x176_20fps_xvid_mp2_1m06s.avi
and
TV_224x176_24fps_xvid_mp2_1m06s.avi
should identify the Videochip as RK2606A from RockChip

I tryed converting with ViDrop with these settings but i still got format error.
