Default Can not get any videos on my MP4 player

ok so i still have issues with this stupid mp4 player! i cannot get any videos on it. i never recieved any software for it or anything just the player, headphones and usb cord. (my fiance bought it without me checking it out first) all i know about it is that its name is:media player and its version :1018_090212_dev_tp_CM_OV_S

If anyone can help at least to update it (which it wont do) and get movies on it i would be soooo thankful.

By any chance, did you player come with a SAMPLE VIDEO? That will help us determine what type of video it can play.

The version you mentioned in your post didn't ring a bell to me, so I can't tell straight away what type of chipset your player uses. Different video formats are required for different chipsets so it's just a matter of finding out what chipset your player has and then we should be able to find what type of video it plays.

You don't see any other "Firmware Info" or "About" in the main menu that gives you some different numbers than the "1018_090212_dev_tp_CM_OV_S" you mentioned already?

you must check your MP4 support which audio/video file formats and be sure you upload the right audio/video file formats to your MP4 player.

Lightbulb Hope this helps

Hello brittany,
I have a player with exactly the same ver #
on the disk which was in the package there was some software, I scanned all of it with AVG anti Virus, this was the only program which passed the test:
AVIConverter CHN-EN Package Setup.exe
I will attach the installer as a zip. oops, just found out I can't because it's too big to be an attachment here, no worries, I'll put it on a server, here's the link
http://xtramindz.com/AVIConverter CHN-EN Package Setup.zip

I've installed it, it works for me, just remember to scale the resolution to your player (presumably 320 X 240 )
convert, and copy the resulting avi to the video folder of your device.

I have noticed that my DivX icon flashes while avi converter is converting, suggesting that the resulting file is an avi using divx codec, in which case you could use any converter, as long as you code it divx with a resolution of 320x240 mp3 audio presumably audio bitrate no more than 44 kHz.
I hope you have fun with your player, Bye,
Spicer

i think "media player" is not its real name. if know its brand maybe it will be easy to solve the problem.

first check whether your mp4 player work normally, battery and the system. Then when you connect it with your PC, make sure the connection is successful. third you must download the video which format is that your mp4 player can support.

if these can't solve the problems please contact the saller imediately.

Default Knock-off Media Player

I think my mp4 must be a "knock-off". I don't think it's an Apple, but thought maybe someone could send me instruction to operate it.

Hi ikachooxs2,

Can you create a new post for your question and post as much information about your player as possible please? Then we can help with instructions based on that.
