Advice on converting to .AMV please
 

Hi

Recently purchased 2 x Tevion 8mb MP4 players from Aldi with 1.8" screens for my childrens Birthdays. I hadn't appreciated just how difficult it would be to convert DVD's to play on them!

I am used to making backups of DVD's on to my Windows Media Centre so am starting with a single .VOB file which is not protected in anyway (AnyDVD used)

The player came with a small cd and says Model: 42263

I installed the software but when I try and convert a file, it just hangs at 0% and doesn't go any further. I have tried installing this on 2 different PC's one with XP SP3 and one with Vista SP2.

If I click on play in the software once I have initially selected the .VOB file it plays the file.
If I then click on convert it hangs, If I then stop the conversion sna click on the play button again I get a message "No Find CODEC, can not create Graph Builder filter!"

I downloaded a couple of your sample files and the Stacie-Orrico-Stuck-160x120.amv file played ok (Although slight black border around it)

Can anyone help me convert .VOB files to .AMV?
